ZhangJie, research professor and master tutor. Prof. Zhang is mainly engaged in the research of microbial corrosion, biofouling and marine cathodic protection. Prof. Zhang won the outstanding award of the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2004 and got his PhD on Marine Chemistry in the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. And in 2007, he raised the special fund for scientific research built for the President-prize winners. Up to now, he has published more than 60 articles including more than 20 SCI articles and 7 EI articles as well as one book (second deputy editor). Prof. Zhang has applied 7 patents in which 5 ones were authorized. He headed 8 scientific research projects including two projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project from the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and one project from the innovative program of the CAS. He won the second prize for the Marine Innovation Award of the State Oceanic Administration in 2011, the second prize for Technology Progress Award of Qingdao in 2014, the Young Science & Technology Awawd of Qingdao in 2013, and the second prize for the Natural Science Award of Qingdao in 2012.
