WANG Hui, born in February 1972, from Kuitun, Xinjiang, Ph.D., Researcher.

From September 1989 to July 1993, undergraduate student of Changchun Institute of Geology, received a bachelor's degree in exploration geophysics; September 1993 to July 1996, master student of Changchun Institute of Geology, received a master's degree in applied geophysics; 1996 From September to July 1999, he was a doctoral student at the Institute of Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and obtained a doctorate degree in solid geophysics.

From September 1999 to June 2001, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in mining engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing; from June 2001 to October 2001, he was an associate researcher at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; October 2001 to December 2003, he was the full-time secretary and associate researcher of the Secretariat of the General Office of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; from December 2003 to December 2006, he was the deputy director and associate researcher of the Solid Earth Science Division, Bureau of Resources and Environmental Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; December 2006 to In July 2012, he served as the director and associate researcher of the Comprehensive Planning Division of the Bureau of Resources and Environmental Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (during the period: from March 2010 to June 2010, senior visiting scholar at the University of Exeter, UK); July 2012 Until March 2017, he was the deputy director of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; since March 2017, he has been the secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
