A ten-member delegation from Belgium and Norway paid a visit to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS) on Oct. 28-31, 2011.
IOCAS director SUN Song introduced the development history, research focus, and scientific research achievements of IOCAS. And Belgian represent introduced the related scientific research work of the University of Ghent. Both sides exchanged their latest research achievements in the form of academic report and agreed to carry out further cooperation in the future.
Headed by Dr. Paul Van Cauwenberge, president of the University of Ghent, Belgium, the delegation inspected the aquaculture experiment base of IOCAS in Rongcheng and the large-scale raft culture area in Sungo Bay.
