A three-member delegation from the Nitto Denko Group, Japan paid a visit to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS) to seek potential cooperation on February 17, 2012.
The Japanese side extended congratulations to IOCAS' newly-approved National Engineering Research Center for Marine Corrosion and Protection by China's Ministry of Science and Technology. They also expressed willingness to cooperate with the center in new technology and product development and patent application, thus contributing to corrosion protection in China.
Nitto Denko is Japan's leading diversified material manufacture with rich experience in corrosion protection, especially of oil tank and pipeline valve. Its group companies now total 110 with superior technology on R&D of anticorrosive materials.
It is the fourth Japanese enterprise that establishes ties with IOCAS. Their cooperation will improve the practical application of our national corrosion protection technology and bring China’s marine anticorrosion technology into an international level.
