Date:Jan 12, 2015    |  【 A  A  A 】

The RCAM---Research Center of Analysis and Measurement, got an excellent evaluation result in 2014 proficiency testing activities held by the State Oceanic Administration. Eight testing results submitted by RCAM, which included salinity in 2 sea water samples, CuZnCd in marine organism, and PbAsOC in sediment were all satisfying in final assessment.

A laboratory’s participation in proficiency testing activities is a requirement of the CMA, China Metrology Accreditation. Good performance, in other words, satisfying in final evaluation, demonstrates a laboratory’s capability and competence. That is---testing data produced by the laboratory is both accurate and reliable. Totally 66 testing laboratories were required to participate in these activities. The final proficiency results were evaluated using robust statistical technique which is usually adopted in international proficiency testing activities.
