The 4th Open Science Symposium on Western Pacific Ocean Circulation and Climate (4th OSS-WPOC) will be held during October 25-27, 2022 in a hybrid format, virtually on Zoom and on-site in Xiamen, China. This symposium will provide a forum for the ocean community to exchange recent progress in the study of western Pacific Ocean (WPO) circulation and climate, marine biogeochemistry, and ecosystem, including their inter-connection and the connection with other oceans, to address environmental challenges and promote multi- and cross-disciplinary collaborations with a view towards the goals of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
