Prof. Micheal J. Dagg Visits IOCAS

Prof. Micheal J. Dagg from Marine Consortium of Louisiana University paid a visit to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS) on April 6, 2012.

Prof. Dagg delivered an academic report on linkage between marsh-derived dissolved organic carbon and the ecosystems in a nearby bay and the coastal ocean, explaining the impacts of march-derived organic matters and cysticercus on the formation of low oxygen area hovering Gulf Coast of the United States.

Prof. Dagg, also a member of American Geophysical Union, has long engaged in the research of marine zooplankton ecology and has made remarkable achievements with over 70 published papers.
