A five-member delegation led by Prof. Young Soo Kang from Sogang University, South Korea paid a visit to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS) on June 22-25, 2012.

Prof. Young Soo Kang delivered a report on Fabrication of Photocatalytic Nanodevices for Artificial Photosythesis and had an in-depth discussion with IOCAS staff on nanodevices and its application in marine anticorrosion.

Both sides agreed that nanodevices and photovoltaic materials not only shed new light on exploitation and high-efficient utilization of renewable energy sources, but also can protect metal material from marine corrosion.

Sogang University, founded in 1960 by the Society of Jesus, is one of the leading research and liberal arts universities in Seoul, South Korea.
