A delegation headed by Prof. Susan S. Golden from the University of California paid a visit to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOCAS) on July 10, 2012.

Prof. Susan S. Golden delivered an academic report on How Cyanobacteria Tell Time, highlighting the function of Synechococcus elongates in biological clock. She also reveals the importance of photosynthesis that ensures the sound biological rhythm of Cyanobacteria.

Susan S. Golden is also an academician of National Academy of Sciences, USA.
