Prof.Richard Brinkman, Prof.Lyndon Llewellyn and Prof.Sean Starmer from Australian Institute of Marine Science(AIMS) visited IOCAS on 27th June, with Pro. SUN Song, director and other experts of IOCAS being present in relevant discussions.

 Prof.Sun preceded his speech with a welcome to the guests, and gave a brief introduction of the basic situation--history, disciplines, scientific achievements, S&T development, etc.,of IOCAS. And then, Prof. Richard Brinkman and Prof. Lyndon Llewellyn presented a detailed introduction of the new achievements of marine science in Australia and meanwhile, showed strong wills of further cooperation. Experts developed their discussions on scientific issues in a penetrating way and then visited Marine Data Center, Museum of Marine Organism and Building of Living Marine Lives Cultivation.

Both sides expressed their common will for the improvement of cooperation spaces and the establishment of an all-round cooperation and exchange system on marine science.
