Research Theme: Developed numerous innovative methods based on comprehensive inversion algorithms for the

(i) exploration of marine gas hydrates;

(ii) imaging sub-volcanic sediments in offshore & onland, and

(iii) understanding earthquake processes & geo-tectonics in several provinces of India, and built requisite expertise in seismic data acquisition, processing & interpretation; attenuation; attributes; traveltime tomography; AVO modeling; full-waveform inversion; pre-stack depth migration; rock physics modeling
