Present Position:  Director & Professor, The Key Laboratory of Marine Ecology & Environmental Sciences, Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences

 WG3 Expert, NOWPAP CEARAC (North West Pacific Action Plan, Coastal Environmental Assessment Regional Activity Centre), UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme)

Research fields:   Marine environmental science, including coastal eutrophication, harmful algal blooms (HAB), HAB mitigation, biogeochemistry of nutrients (N & P), etc.
