Academic achievement
In the past 10 years, I have proposed 51 new bacterial species and 6 new genera on the journal of International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology.
Currently I am the review editor of Frontiers in Marine Science (Marine Systematics and Taxonomy). I am also the referee of many renowned academic journals, including International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology,Research in microbiology, Current microbiology and Antonie van Leeuwenhoek Journal of Microbiology, etc. My recent research mainly focuses on the taxonomy of bacteria and microbial diversity from marine environments (especially deep sea).
