Prof. XU Bin from the University of Michigan paid a visit to the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Science (IOCAS) on August 24, 2012.  He had an in-depth discussion with researchers of the Fish Genetics and Developmental group of the Experimental Marine Biological Laboratory.

Prof. XU Bin has long been engaged in the field of human endocrine research. He delivered a report on “Novel functions of the non-coding RNA SRA in adipogenesis and beyond”, elaborated on the mechanism of non-coding RNA in human obesity and type II diabetes, as well as the latest research progress.
