October 21, 2013, CSIRO delegation visited IOCAS, Director Dr. Sun Song, Head of R&D Center of Marine Environmental Engineering & Technology Dr. Yu Fei, Deputy head of the Key Laboratory of Marine Ecology and Environmental Sciences Dr. Yu Zhiming, Deputy head of Jiaozhou Bay Marine Ecosystem Research Station Dr. Sun Xiaoxia, Deputy head of International Cooperation Office Dr. Li Yanwei attended the meeting.

    Dr. Sun Song welcomed Wealth from Oceans Flagship delegation, CSIRO. He briefly introduced the institute, the main research fields, research progress, and international cooperation to the guests. Subsequently, he focused on the ongoing key projects. He expressed that IOCAS and CSIRO have maintained good cooperation; both sides expect the effective cooperation in near future.

    It is the second time for Dr. Kenneth Lee to visit IOCAS this year. He hopes IOCAS and CSIRO to be able to work together, sharing scientific research resources. During the meeting, CSIRO delegation and our delegates also presented their research progress and made in-depth exchanges.

    After the meeting, CSIRO delegation visited Marine Biological Specimen Museum, Breeding Laboratories, Marine Biological Culture Collection Centre, etc. in the company of Dr. Sun Song and colleague from International Cooperation Office.
