Recently, deputy director of Korea Marine Environment Management Corp (KOEM) Hyun Jong KIM, Dr. Young Nam KIM visited IOCAS, Dr. Sun Song and Dr. Li Chaolun met the foreign guests.

Director Sun Song welcomes the visiting guests and hopes the two sides would strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the further research. Chaolun describes the present situation of IOCAS and key research fields, scientific research, international cooperation, etc. Dr. Hyun Jong KIM introduces KOEM briefly and Dr. Young Nam KIM introduces organization architecture and the main research areas of KOEM.

Both sides share the scientific issues of common concern in the academic exchanges, in the field of marine ecosystem management, marine monitoring and marine biodiversity conservation methods, jellyfish outbreak etc.
