Now Dr. Zaixing Wu focuses his research on marine ecology, coastal eutrophication and harmful algal blooms. Until now he has undertaken 3 projects in this field, including project founded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).

Dr. Zaixing Wu, together with his research group, has won the award of Marine Engineering Science and Technology in the year 2016 (the fourteenth position)
