Research Interests:
The research interest is marine biochemistry, including the chemistry of polysaccharides such as chitin/chitosan. The research and development of marine biological products is also his research field, mainly engaged in the extraction technology of marine biological active substances and its application in agriculture, food and medicine, especially the application of marine biological resources to agriculture.
Academic Achievements:
He has led and achieved a series of groundbreaking results in the high-value utilization of marine biological resources in China. A number of research results have been transformed and achieved industrialization with the enterprises in Shandong, Sichuan, Guangdong and other places, and achieved significant economic and social benefits. He has undertaken more than 50 national, provincial and municipal research projects, published more than 230 papers (more than 230 SCI papers), with more than 4,500 citations, and authorized more than 80 national invention patents, and 1 US invention patent.
Honors and Awards:
He has won more than 10 scientific rewards including the first and second prize of Marine Innovation Achievement by State Oceanic Administration, the second invention prize by CAS and the second prize of Science and Technology Progress by Shangdong Province.
